Hulk is set to team-up with Thor in 2017, but what does that mean for a potential solo film? Mark Ruffalo shares his thoughts right now on Clevver News Feed. Will fans finally see Mark Ruffalo’s “Hulk” get his own movie? The star isn’t holding his breath? While both Hulk and Thor will be sitting out Marvel’s Civil War next summer, the pair will reunite for 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok and in a recent interview with USA Today, Ruffalo revealed that a Hulk solo film seems further away from happening than ever before explaining that it quote “seems really problematic” since Universal currently holds the rights. Despite Hulk appearing in both Avengers films and 2008’s The Incredible Hulk being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that film was released by Universal and, as you know, since then Marvel Studios has been purchased by Disney. Legal issues aside, Ruffalo explained that he’d still love to see it happen one day as he thinks there’s still a lot they can do with the character. He went on to say that he’s excited for the chance to take Hulk off Earth for Thor 3 and thinks it will open up lots of opportunities, including the potential for a battle he’s always wanted to see – Hulk versus Bruce Banner. Ruffalo explained that there is precedence for the two to collide in the comics and thinks it could happen if they can find the right context explaining quote, “When I was doing Age of Ultron — doing the Scarlet Witch acid trip scenes — it really took me a long time to figure out what the Hulk would be afraid of and then I realized, it was Banner. That relationship is what we're all so into, but we've never seen them in the same scene together — you're either one or the other, or somewhere in between, but I always imagined that that could be pretty exciting if we could pull it off.” As for his role in Thor: Ragnarok, Ruffalo says he doesn’t know the story yet other than it will involve him, Thor and Loki. He says he’s met with director Taika Waititi and says he, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston always have a good time when they’re together and says the film will have a kind of antagonistic Odd Couple kind of thing to it. In addition to Thor 3, Ruffalo also confirmed he’ll return for the two part Avengers: Infinity War, which is set to begin May 2018. So, who other there is excited to see Thor and Hulk to team up for Thor: Ragnarok on November 3rd, 2017 and would you like to see Bruce Banner and Hulk battle it out?
